Your CV and Personal Details

Whitestrand regard your C.V as important, private documentation. We believe that you, the C.V. owner, should be fully in control of the contents of your C.V. and who sees that information.
When submitting your C.V and Personal Details to Whitestrand we store such information as name, address, education, employment history and other details normally found on a curriculum vitae or career overview/profile. We are collecting this information in order for Whitestrand to assist you in finding other employment opportunities.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 you, the data subject, can ask to view all documentation we hold at any time. Whitestrand reserves the right to charge the sum of £10 for this request. However, Whitestrand will not make any charge to send any copies of the current CV held on its database to allow you to check its validity.

Who sees your Personal Details / CV and how is it used
Your personal details and CV are used by our Recruitment consultants to find your ideal job. Only current authorised Whitestrand employees will have access to this data. Whitestrand does not sell or pass your personal details to any third party who may use that information to try and sell you goods or services. If Whitestrand wishes to send your CV and personal details to a potential employer or third party in order to find you a new job, Whitestrand will contact you first and obtain your permission BEFORE the C.V. is sent.
